Mel Ferrer at Marlene Dietrich's party to honor her 21 years as a Hollywood actress. The two actors were filming "Rancho Notorious" together for Fritz Lang at the time. Also seen in the photo is Maria Riva, Marlene's 27-year-old daughter. The party was thrown by Marlene and held at the Ambassador Hotel's Colonial Room. Both of these photos were taken while the group was talking to the press.
