Mel Ferrer was a member of the jury at the 1963 Miss United Nations competition, which was held in Palma de Mallorga, Spain, early in February. Fellow judges included choreographer Sergé Lifar, actor Fernando Llamas and Spanish singer/dancer/actress Carmen Sevilla, shown in the photo with Ferrer.  The winner was Miss Sweden, Monica Ragby.
